The best ways to protect your skin for spring break.

Sun is good for you—in small doses and with the proper care. Fifteen minutes of sun before 10am and after 2pm can boost your levels of Vitamin D while elevating your mood. Here’s how to take advantage of the sun’s rays on your upcoming warm weather spring break destinations while minimizing the havoc it can wreak on your skin.

Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen. This is a no-brainer, but most of us don’t apply nearly enough. Experts say at least SPF 30—and look for products that protect from both UVA and UVB rays.
