Most snake plants grow tall and skinny. The Snake Plant ‘Hahnii,’ on the other hand, is known for its compact, rosette growth habit ("rosette" meaning its leaves come out of a center point in way that sort of resembles a rose). This variety will also stay fairly small, growing up to about 12 inches or so. The foliage is a deep green with contrasting lime-green-ish accents. If you often find yourself forgetting to water your plants — no judgement! — this is a great plant to add to your collection. As hardy as any other snake variety, this is a low-maintenance plant that can handle pretty much anything that comes its way. That said, it thrives in low to bright indirect light (and still needs to be watered on occasion — don't totally neglect it!).
