Oil on canvas 12" x 12" Condition: New My best memories from growing up are from the time I spent on my family’s farm in tidewater Virginia.  That has naturally influenced my painting toward landscapes with barns, fields, clouds, and streams.  I paint in layers starting with wet on wet and blending with oversized brushes.  Once I am satisfied with the blended background colors, I allow the canvas to dry completely before adding the next 5-7 layers.  I seek to create a feeling of calmness and a composition that draws the observer into the painting.  Accomplishing this goal keeps me creating.   All art sales are final.
