As the temperature climbs, it’s important to keep little ones hydrated and lathered in sunscreen while they’re playing tag, kicking the ball around, and crawling in the grass. If it’s just too hot to go outside, here are a few ways to stay active while staying cool inside.
BUILD A FORT
Grab an old sheet or an old cardboard box, give the kids some WASHABLE markers or crayons, and get creative.
CREATE AN OBSTACLE COURSE
Cut a hole in your hamper to crawl through. Pile up some pillows to jump over. Or walk on a balance board over a swamp of crocodiles!
TAKE A CLASS AT KIDVILLE
Kidville at Bethesda Row offers classes for infants to five-year-olds in their super fun state-of-the-art indoor play space. Want to do more? They offer art & science, dance, and music classes, too.
